Alisonhey! in my science class we are making models of castles. the only problem is, we have to have a scaled blueprint first. i thought it was going to be no problem, get on the internet and search. trust me, IT'S NOT THAT EASY! i have used every search engine in the entire world, but no where can i find a castle blueprint. if anyone that reads this knows where i can find one, PLEASE REPLY! thanx bunches!!!!

We did have some plans in the Photo Archive.
Pop along and see if they are still there, may be just what you want.
Instead of a full blown castle (poor you!), why not go for a Tower House ?
Much, much easier .. I think !

AlisonThis may sound kinda dumb, but what is a tower house??? i am so confused. the photo archive helped me. i got some of the pictures. it would still be a big help if you could give me more. thanx bunches!!!

GordonA tower house is a fortifed home of a lesser lord, or landowner, typically found in Scotland or Ireland.
It is a self contained fortified house with the rooms stacked vertically above one another, usually with a stone ceilinged basement (vaulting)with a hall above, then residential accomodation on the floors above. There was usually a barmkin (smalll courtyard), and they generally date from 1540 to 1680.
