------------------kevin I am 10 years old, and in grade 4. I need to build a castle for school. It must be either concentric or motte & bailey. We have many restrictions placed on us such as base must by 40cm by 40cm, height included flag must be exactly 40cm. It must have a moat, a keep, a flag etc. Anyone with any ideas on how I should start? Gordon Copy or draw a floor plan on to your base, and then build up from there. Use suitable and available materials, and study pictures and drawings of similar castles to get an idea of how the 3d castle should look.
you will find a variety of floorplans on my web site, or in the photo archive at the foot of the page. Study the suggestions in previous mails and in the Model making forum for material and other suggestions.

for detailed drawings of parts of a castle, or a good drawn impression of a motte and bailey.
