------------------ Check out the 'Model Making' and 'Floorplans and Blueprints' forums for names and plans of later castles. Erik ------------------whatshudipic I would appreciate it if people could give me links to pages with aeriel pictures of English around 1000 a.d. castles or readable blueprints.... im 15 and in 9th grade i have to make a model of the castle and it is supposed to take about 10 hours so the castle has to be a lil complex but not too complex..... thanks for your help
-Brandon-Erik Schmidt Unfortunately nothing but some earthworks survives from castles of that period in England. Around 1000ad most castles were still all wood and it wasn't until later in the 11th century that stone began to become more common.
I don't know of any plans or reconstructions of castles from the period you are looking at, but they do exist. Hopefully someone else might have some links for you.castleuk Hi
