Hi Sky does anybody know where i can find alot of info on the italian Castle of prato or commonly known as The " fortress of S. Barbra or "Castello Sveno.

It sounds like you have already done a search of the web.
From my personal experiences in researching lesser known castles(and the like) from non-English speaking areas, the web will often have the best info on non-English sites. More information will be available in the literature, such as research papers, history monographs, but they will likewise not be in English.
Sorry to be so negative, but the more info you want, the harder it gets to track it down.
I visited the castle a few years back and it was run as a small museum, so I may have a brochure from it. I'll let you know.
