I need help with these questions i can't seem to find the answer. 1.What is the importance of a "Great Hall" in a castle? 2.What did a typical hall look like? Flooring? Lighting? 3.Describe how heating was accomplished in the Medieval halls. 4.Describe the kitchens usually found in the Medieval halls. 5.Explain how the main bedrooms and guest rooms were laid out in the castle. 6.What were squints used for? 7. Did castles have water accessible on all floors? Explain. 8. Where was the chapel located in early castles? 9. How are guest seated when they come for dinner? 10. But I think you will find most of these answers in past postings. They are questions that are asked quite often, and you do have a lot of them.squishy_152003 I am also in the 9th grade and doing a report on castles.-this might be late but here it goes-
1. the immportance if a great hall was-it served as the official center of the castle, where court was held,guests were entertained and the members of the household ate their meals.
2. Heating was accomplished through a open hearth, with some of the smoke escaping through a hole in the roof.Later they had fireplaces Merlin Point 2 is not relay correct. Different kinds of stoves were in use from about 1200 onwards. waffle i also have the same project!!
