These models are a little smaller than most trainsets, but they're very realistic. There are several other castles and mediaeval villages in this series: [URL=http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/sim-explorer/explore-items/-/0860205789/0/ref=pd_sexpl_d_b/002-3753912-0822422]http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/sim-explorer/explore-i tems/-/0860205789/0/ref=pd_sexpl_d_b/002-3753912-0822422 For even more cutout castles see the following forum page: http://www.castlesontheweb.com/quest/Forum15/HTML/000017.html My favourite is the model of Caernarfon Castle in Wales. [This message has been edited by Levan (edited 05-17-2004).]BrightEyes Greetings to all-
I am in search of a supplier (in the U.S.A.) of precut kits that you can make miniature castle models out of.
I have only one company who made models (of standard buildings, barns, etc.) but they offered nothing in castles...
Regretably they have gone out of business as well.
I am not too choosey about the size, if the price is right..but I am staying within the range of 'train set' size and 'dollhouse' sizes.
If you have suggestions for mail contact or a link to a good URL please let me know.
(by the way, I am an adult, living in Hanford, CA)
Thanks.Levan Usbourne do some very nice castles:

Thanks for responding, but I am looking for actual kits made with thicker materials. But I have seen the book you were referring to...it is nice for kids..
