PieboyMy teacher says I have to ask a person some questions.
My questions are:
In your opinion, will castles regain military importance in the future? Explain.
Will castles be built in the future? Why or why not?
Give the good and bad reasons of castles going out of fashion.
How did castles affect culture and how did people live in castles or towns near castles?
If gunpowder was never invented, would castles still be in use? Explain.

MerlinNice try, but we won't do your homework for you, buddy. However: I don't understand the last question - makes no sense to me.
PieboyI don't mean for someone to do homework for me. It's part of my project that I have to interview an expert on castles. Do you think you can be the person I can interview? Or maybe you could refer someone to me. I don't need a face-to-face interview. My teacher said I could do it through the internet.

MartinJPIn short.

the answers are as follows.
1. short of nuclear war and a return to the old ways as highlighted by such epic films as postman, Mad max, Water world any of thos post modern epics set in a world where the controoling bodies have destroyed each other and the surviors dont have access to a huge arsnel then yes castle could once again become strategically imporant but I seriously doubt that.As all of these are fictitous events and it is not likely to ever happen.

2. Castles may well be built or rebuilt in the future. Theyw ill be built as sites of heritage though, places where a site can market them as a heritage expiernce. It is also possible that people will build mock castles as dwellings ( houses), but both of these are not real castles in the strictest sense. Castles may well become restored but this is unlikely in the foreseeable future.

3. If gunpowder was not invented would castles still bein use.

There is no posible way of arging that point one way or the other. Bt I see where you are going with it.

But in all probabilty something else would have come along if it wasnt gunpowder it would have been the next explosive thing.

PieboyThanks MartinJP
