PeterWho needs Fox !
Someone out there might have some advice\tips for me regarding ... listening.
I have a very slow tub (166mz), but have just managed to find an Italian Station I can pick up, and listen too. ie Whilst typing this etc. www.radiozeta.it
But it is the only one of dozens I can grab.
Why ?
Radio\music is great fun when learning a language.
What do I need to get more ?
Do many of you use the net for listening ?
As the man just said ... tanti aguri .. Ciao
now and againHUH? what are you talking about? can you explain it to me more?
yoaly
PeterWhat a crowd !
You can of course access radio stations through the web. Though you need something like 'Real Audio' to do it.
Nearly all Microsoft frames have a built in radio section. Old Time Radio, Hits Radio, and perhaps two more.
You can pick anywhere in the world. See if they have stations broadcasting .. and, BINGO !
I pick the Italian one up with Windows Media Player. It is fun when you are just typing, or doing general work.
GordonIf I tried anything like that this old box would crumple. One thing at a time on this.
Have to go off line and cut web page text then close down IE to open word then before it prints. I really should upgrade.
