I read in the NY times a few weeks ago of a project in France where people were constructing a 13th century castle using techniques and materials of that era. The organizers estimated that the project would take approximately 25 years to complete - and the project started in 1997. The organizers also take on volunteers
to help with the work.

Does anyone know anything about this? Where is it? Who can I contact to get involved? I'd appreciate anything anyone can tell me!

The project you probably mean is Guédelon castle in france.
