I could really use floor plans to any simple castle. Just as long as it has a Key to tell me what each part of the castle is. Ive een looking all over the internet and it's very hard to find floor plans to a castle. Thanks

You're by far not the first one to look for such a plan. Just go through the older postings in this forum and you'll find plenty of information...

You might want to check-out www.castlemagic.com - the builder there has an interesting set of plans, with pictures of the near-finished product. It's a gatehouse/keep combination of-sorts. Of course, it goes hand-in-hand with his construction technique..

Woah! The ugliest thing that claimed to be a castle I've ever seen. As far from a real medieval construction as it could be.

I agree !!
He at least read this site, just didn't do his research very well.

Which is my opinion and prerogative as to how I feel about this building.
Others may not share this veiw point and that is their right also!

This is Roger at www.castlemagic.com.
Our castles, designs, and methods are meant for the everyday person who loves castles and would like a dream castle for themselves. We use tons and tons of stone like the old days, but then again we do use modern methods too. Our construction method allows our castles to stay warm and dry inside and pass modern building codes.

Everyday people...how much did you state this folly, which to say, is not to be confused with a real castle costs?
This is way out of the range of most people today.

And tons of stone makes a true castle not.
