Hey guys, try doing a little of your own homework! Try changing your CastleQuest preferences to "Show All topics" and you'll find lots of information to browse about castles and mediaeval warfare where others have posted questions very similar to your own. If you have a difficult question, try using the CastleQuest Search facility - you'll be amazed at what you find!

If all this fails, you could then try asking a specific question giving an indication of what you've already found out, and I'm sure you'll get lots of useful replies.

While I'm nagging, just a wee note about etiquette - there's little point in trying to rush things along by adding an 'ASAP'. Contributors to CastleQuest mostly do so because of their keenness to share their love and interest in castles. My own experience is that members always post answers even to complex questions as soon as they are found.

As another general issue, you'll find that most contributors will only post answers via CastleQuest, and not to your personal email box. This means that many more interested people will be able to share the information, and that surely is one of the big benefits of the Web. It also means if someone inadvertantly gives a disputed answer, there's opportunity for others to propose alternatives. Just the kind of background material that'll really get you good marks for your homework!

Hope this helps.
