What are you expecting? As no one knows if Camelot ever existed and what it looked like, you can draw a fantasy-castle on your own and it'll be as near to the truth as anything else.

Merlin has given you a good reply, it is a castle from history\fantasy\legend, that has given many writers and artists more than poetic licence.
If anything it is over fantasied. Use your own imagination to build into your version all the elements you like best about castles.
Me, I prefer to see it as something solid looking. More part of the landscape, than a flighty thing that looks like it would get blown away by the first Wizard (sorry Merlin !).

A curious question for the geneology forum I think, however one which has produced many varied replies in the past.
