"The Truth About Cottages" John Woodforde .. 1969; was £1. 95: I paid £2. 50: for it this last weekend. Really lifts the lid off cottage life through the centuries. Styles of build, changing patterns, different ways of building. And I have found out what an 'earth' floor is. A good earth floor isn't just earth ! Now there's a book worth writing .. ..
