Understand that Mike has issued four more books in the last 12 months - covering Lancashire & Cheshire, Yorkshire, Gloucestershire & Bristol, and Wessex (hampshire, Isle of Wight, Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire).I've ordered my copies, but if someone else would like to review them before I receive mine, please go ahead.

England.If you wish to buy all four books, the cost is currently £21, including postage.
A full list of the books Mike Salter has produced are available on request. I will post full details, including ISBN, price, etc., when I have received the books. Some of the other books by Mike have already been reviewed in this forum, and to find them I suggest using the "search" facility, inserting his surname. |

Mike's been at it again - there are books covering three more areas of England.
They are : -
The Castles of County Durham (ISBN 1-871-731-569) price £3.95.The Castles of the East Midlands (ISBN 1-871-731-577) price £5.95. The Castles of the Thames Valley & the Chilterns (ISBN 1-871-731-585) price £4.95. Mike has also issued a book entitled Index of English Castles (ISBN 1-871-731-593) price £2.00 (single copies only available when ordering other books). My copies are on order.

Just to keep all this together.
Mike will be visiting in a few weeks. He will be returning from Scotland, where he plans to update his pictures for future revamping of his Scottish books. |

Mike visited a few days ago.
Will be reviewing his latest books in the next issue of Postern.
Re: his 'Index to English Castles', he says not to be shy, but report to him any mistakes or omissions in any of his books.
And everyone try and buy his books .. becuase he really is a 'one man band, and needs to sell to survive. |
