Just purchased;
Castles & Moated sites of Herefordshire:
Ron Shoesmith, Logaston Press (1996) £9.95:
250-pages of sites, not as many pictures as Salter. But a lot more info on many of the sites.
All kinds of sites are mentioned, even sites that 'may be' castles. The kind of book that gives you the option to perhaps discover if a mention is a castle site ?
Kinnersley Castle ..whilst Salter gives five-lines of info on the site (mostly family names). Shoesmith gives a picture, and slightly different info.
Paul Remfry also has one on;
Castles of Radnorshire .. £7. 95:
Which now goes on my want list:

Logaston Press;
Little Logaston Woonton Almeley
Herefordshire .. HR6 6QH
Best to contact them for details.
