Taschen. Apart it's many illustrations, it also contains precious information about the work of scribes, their tecknique and the organisation of monasteries. It also tours the whole world, from Europe to the Middle East. I just think it's a great, useful book. ipflo Moderator posted 09-03-2004 01:33 PM             I know the book.
