Author Topic:   Castle Puivert in Army of Darkness? Steve-O-Gerst Senior Member posted 12-05-2005 10:39 PM             When I watched Army of Darkness, I was surprised to see a castle that looked almost like a real castle, rather than a cheap set, which is all the producers were likely to be able to afford, so I started asking around, and someone suggested that it used "Castle Puivert" IMDB doesn't list any locations outside of California, so I guess maybe this was just for the matte painting... When I went to the Castle Puivert website, I couldn't see any of the pictures, and it mentions only one film, the ninth gate by name. Can anyone confirm, or deny ths rumor that Castle Puivert was used for Army of Darkness?
