Author Topic:   NEW $100m Private Gothic Castle in U.K. steve Member posted 09-05-99 07:47 PM          I was intrigued to learn that recently the wealthy Barclay Brothers of the U.K purchased a small island to the west of one of the Channel Islands,Sark. On it they are going to build,or have already built,a $100m Gothic-style granite Castle intended to become the family seat. The scale of such a development coupled with the fact that it is on an entirely private wooded island has really caught my imagination! Does anybody know more about this or even have pictures?
