The Dundon family can be traced back to Norman stock who came to County Limerick in Ireland before the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. They occupied the townlands of Ballystine, where they were the major freeholders, and they were owners of Ballystine Castle or may be spelled Ballysteen or now be called Ballinacourty?. Thanks Mike
