I am constructing an information website that will provide reviews and information about castles in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria. The inspiration came after trying to find info about German castles on the web and finding that English information was scarce. Being as this is a personal site rather than a commercial one there is no pay, you'd be doing this because you have an interest in the history of castles and like visiting them. All castles are fair game as is anything else that is medievil in nature (such as Rothenburg). Ruins or Maintained castles, palaces, etc.

There are guidelines that need to be followed so that certain key information is in each review.

There will be only one full length review for each castle, so some castles will not need to be covered (since they already are and I don't need a second review for them) but additional info can be added to provide a more complete picture to anyone visiting the website.

The website is not up yet, but the domain name is reserved. I'm looking at a target of about September 2005 to get the site up, enough time to get a few more reviews before going live (I'm hoping for in the neighborhood of 25-50 reviews at launch). So there is plenty of time to get at it. You can be a regular contributor or have only one review you contribute, as long as it covers the info and is written well then I'd love to have your help. All authors of reviews will be mentioned in a byline with your review.

Castles I would want to add to the website can be in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria or Switzerland anything outside of these countries I'm not interested in at this point.

I will not need Neuschwanstein to be covered, nor will I need Rothenburg ob der Tauber covered. There are other castles that I won't need covered (since I already have the information for them) but those aren't as major and I can mention those when you contact me.

I'm basically looking for a few partners to help me put this thing together so there is a good resource out there for English speaking people looking to visit a German castle. Anyone who is a good webprogrammer that can help me piece together my design and help me troubleshoot (I'm a graphic designer more than a webprogrammer) is also more than welcome.

I do not plan to be as extensive as Castle Quest, this site is HUUUUGE only to cover in more detail some castles which you can't readily find info for on the intnernet (namely German castles).

So if you live in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or Luxembourg or plan to visit any of these countries soon and visit a castle let me know if you are interested in being a contributor.
