Hi, I am 28 and am getting married at Cinderella's Castle this October. I am interested in building a castle approximately 2 feet tall for a decorative card receptacle. I would love something stunning. I would be open to any suggestions, sites for a kit, or even toy models that I could purchase, if they would be appropriate. The castle can be made from cardboard, wood or anything. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them. |

At the Levan Castle web site http://www.kirkburn.com/castlelevan/ you can finds some nice architects drawings of Castle Levan. If you were to download, and enlarge them, you could fairly simply paste the resulting images on sheets of cardboard and have a nice model in next to no time. The enlarged images would be very pixelatted so you might need to process them a bit first, and the cardboard might need a few bends to get the machiolations right. Some addition work with paint could improve this simple model even further.------------------ Neurotics build castles in the air, psychotics live in them, Psychiatrists charge the rent, art therapists do the interior design and nurses clean out the garderobes! http://www.castlesontheweb.com/members/philipdavis/index.html | |
