i have to build a model castle, and I was wondering what the best material would be. i was thinking foam, some thin wood, or cardboard. do you know what would be the cheapest, or easiest to use? |

Cardboard and styrofoam can usually be had for free(electrical stores, fruit shops). Both are easy to work and can be glued together and painted. Carefull what glue and paint you use of styrofoam, it reacts with many solvents. I would use a combination. Foam for the walls, card for roofs and doors.Erik |

With water based paints no, but many solvent based paints will melt it, yes. | |
