Author Topic:   Shows or Festivals Riggs Member posted 04-09-2001 04:19 PM          Are there any type of jousting, knights shows or medieval festivals or faires going on in June or July? I'll be all over in Europe with a flexible schedule, so anything big would be worth taking a look. Peter Member posted 04-10-2001 01:40 PM             Hi Riggs, check out Welsh tourist items, they have many reinactment groups pounding round ruins through the summer months. Peckforton Castle near Chester (though only built early 1800's), Robin Hood was filmed there. Also has chaps on big horses cutting up the sward (as we say in the country) !
