And virtual cakes?
Now, something to chit-chat about...
let me see...
the 4 dead fish under my closet? neh...
Hm, this might work fine:
Just found out some guy in my class is in love with some girl in my class, and she said yes this afternoon (no time to go into details)
I just think someone will be real disappointed...(no not me!)
Cause I know that girl quite well, and I know she gives me and some other too the same treatment as that poor guy, who might think she really cares, but I think she doesn't, it depends on who she's with at the moment, and then she seems really caring and stuff, but after that you seem forgotten and it's someone else's turn again.

That girl almost caught me in her web of love too...but luckily I'm too careful to get in love that soon, and now i see through her, all will be ok with me, but that poor boy...

That's it for today, now I'd like some cookies...

Fox, I think it would be advisable if you were to edit the mail above, and remove one word which is quite plainly offensive language.

'The Hobbit', 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Silmarilion', 'The Lost Tales', 'Tree And Leaf', 'Farmes Giles of Ham', Tolkiens Letters and Biography - just all of it and most of it twice. It sure is one of the best stories ever written, but I hate to see how it was more and more commercialised since the author's dead in 1973. Especially the new film-epos, ready to enter cinemas worldwide, is something of the worst that could have happend to the book. At least that's my point of view...

You sure read alot a them, I just read the hobbit and lotr, but the hobbit 3 times and lotr 4 times, persoannly I'd like to see those movies, could be very nice, just hope they don't mess up the story.

I've read The Hobbit - but that would have been about 20 years ago. My current book is "Nemesis" by Isaac Asimov (and a few books on castles, of course).

Someone once made a semi animated film of Lord of the Rings. Personally I felt let down by it because they only told half the story and skipped bits. they had intended to make a sequel to finish it off, but ran out of cash (or so I beleive). One of the problems is that the books are so long, and to do it justice would take probably three movies. Lets see what Hollywood makes of it. I've heard that the latest attempt is sticking to the story and is going to be serialised.

Having been a fantasy & S.f. fhan longer than a castle follower, I'm certainly interested in how the new films turn out. I still belong to an American Fantasy a.p.a. called 'Elanor', one of the guys is from New Zealand. This is where they have been filming. He tried to get in as one of 'extras' but couldn't make it in time.

I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit was actually one of the first novels I ever read. ahhh .. times past I wonder have any of you read the Shanara series? Or the Runelords? They are quickly becoming two of my favorite series.

It was agreed that all forums required a moderator.
Given that there are often times when one or more moderators may be "out of touch" for one reason or another, it was decided that the popular forums would need more than one moderator.

It is, as you can see by the number of requests posted there. And as almost everyone who posts there yells URGENT or PROJECT DUE TOMORROW, fast help is needed 24 hours a day. Well, we still can't offer a complete and competent service, but we'll do our best...

Fox,
I don't think some folk ever do.
As a self-employed contractor, I get, say, a phone call from someone on a Monday night asking for extra power points or lights. They want me the next because the decorator is coming on Wendsday !
The carpet fitter is the next favourite.
That's life !
