Hi

does some one know where i can find some pictures of Bolton hall near Bolton castle and Wensley in north yorkshire? I could only find an areal photo with www.multimap.com

but i am sorry to say there are two bolton hall's and the one you are referring too is the other one, of the dukes of devonshire near Skipton.

the one i mean is near Leyburn, on http://www.boltoncastle.co.uk/history.htm they say it is built in 1678 and you can see an aerial photo on http://www.multimap.com/map/photo.cgi?client=europe&x=407534&y=489745&scale=5000&width=700&height=410&gride=409387&gridn=489557

i found out that lord bolton lives there, but i just can't find more pictures or more on the history of the house or who the architect was and so on. So if some one know where i can find other pictures of this bolton hall.

I was forgotten to say in my last post here.

That this Bolton Hall is the Bolton Hall of the dukes of Devonshire and not the Bolton Hall near Wensley.

But as i said: thx, it is a beautiful picture.
