Hidoes some one know where i can find pictures of the lost castle and pavillion of Bouchefort.
Bouchefort lies somewhere south of Brussels and the dukes of Brabant have built there a hunting castle, which later was also used by emperor Charles V and the governors of the low countries. the latter have built there also a hunting pavillion by the french architect Boffrand in the style of Marly (near Versailles) and Clemenswerth (near Münster, germany). Around 1800 the buildings are lost through negelction and the french revolution.
i found some history (in dutch and french) at http://www.watermael-boitsfort.be/
( http://www.watermael-boitsfort.be/Site/SiteWbNl/historie.htm ), but nowhere i can find pics of the buildings, so if some one knows, it would be great
