Hi ipflo, From the same book about Austrian castles I mentioned in an earlier post comes the following info about Schloss Aigen: "A building with 3 floors (4 in the center) with tower, classical facade, farm buildings, situated in a park which used to stretch out to the edge of the Gais mountains. First mentioned in 1402 as a clerical possession. After that it was owned by these families: Christalnikh (1564), Pranckh (1649), Lodron (1788) and Schwarzenberg (1804). Presently owned by the Revertera-Salandra family. In the well maintained Schloss and its outbuildings is a boarding house and a restaurant." Given adress: Schwarzenbergpromenade 42 in Salzburg.
------------------ "But round about the castle there began to grow a hedge of thorns, which every year became higher...." Visit my website at http://www.castles.nl/
