Does some one know where I can find information (history, pictures, plans, etcetera) on the (now disappeared) Château de Pinon. It lied once between Laon and Soissons, north of Paris. It was built around 1700 by the famous architect Hardouin-Mansart and is destroyed during World War I.

Thx in advance

Just a snippet in relation to communes of nearby Anizy Castle: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://genevoute.free.fr/monog/02/1064.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522Ch%25C3%25A2teau%2Bde%2BPinon%2522%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DU TF-8

"The author makes us discover the pilot sites of the last times: the castle of Chaillevois, which was characterized by its remarkable turns, burnt into 919 and rebuilt in XIIe century; the splendid castle of Pinon built by Enguerrand II, in 1137"
