Author Topic:   Belsay Northumbria Member posted 11-02-2004 02:55 AM          Belsay Hall is wonderful! The servents quarters have just been re-opened after finally being made safe again! The basement MUST be larger than the the actual hall, but its so creepy down there that when I went two years ago, no body went very far down there! Also, if you take time to explore the wonderful gardens, you may come upon... The Castle! The castle is really fun, and we even got up onto the roof, where the original roofing had been replicated! I really recommend Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens to everyone! There's even a golf course and fantastic hotel nearby! ------------------ I intend to view them all by my 18th, and I'm already almost half way through it.
