Here's an opportunity for someone with a little time on their hands.

Castle Levan is in need of a lick of paint and some general maintenance work. The garden also needs some general tidying up too. Tools and materials will be provided.

If you're up to working a few days per week doing these kind of duties you can live in the castle for free - yes FREE! What you do with the rest of your time is up to you. You will mostly have the castle to yourself as I now have to spend a lot of my time working away from home.

This is a short-term opportunity, perhaps around six weeks (who knows?), basically until the Castle is sold.

Contact me on levan@kirkburn.com if you are interested.

Sounds good to me, but alas, I have little time. When would this be happening?
If I wasn't going away for a month in June, I think I would have taken up your offer.

What can I say, your timing is pathetic!

The opportunity is available immediately, or any time at your convenience until such a time as the castle is sold. It's much a case of first come, first served (subject, of course, to satisfactory character references).

I'm happy for either an individual or small group to take-up the role. I have no preferences in respect to nationality, language, race, religion etc. The applicant(s) will need to be reasonably fit and mobile as the castle is not suitable for folks with motor disabilites - in fact, like most defensive properties of its era, it was specifically constructed to make access difficult - sorry!

Of what age would you want the persons to be? Or does it not matter? I would love to do it. Anytime in June or July is perfect. I wrote you an email about your castle just a second ago. I'm anigav678@hotmail.com. Would a group of 2 or 3 or 4 be ok?

Sounds like a dream Levan,
Pity it's not in six months. I have teaching commitments at the moment. Ohhhh how tempting! Hope you found someone. A while ago I posted a request about some volunteer work to help around a castle. Was this perhaps what you were referring to?

All times are PT (US)
