If your are a castles lover, why don't you come to visit Pierrefonds in France. Here is beautiful and romantic castle just in the forest of Compiègne. Napoléon asked the architect Viollet-le-Duc to rebuild this place. It is huge !!!
For accommodation you should book in Donjon House which is a very confortable B&B just in front of the castle. Hanna & David will offer you a nice welcome in French, in English and even in Russian ...
A lot of nice things to see around the place : the castle of course, the forest, the wagon of armistice, Alexandre Dumas's House, Reims capital of Champagne (100 km), Paris (70 km), etc...
The Roissy airport is only 40 minutes driving from Pierrefonds.
