Looking for pictures or plans to buildr a practical/romantic looking/fantasy style castle or storybook cottage. I just can't seen to find the magical looking one that I know will be the one. Any help, be it books or personal designs will be appreciated.
Thank you! Crystal Cave

The only fantasy-like castles that I can think of happen to be located in Germany. I know that there are some near Hiedelburg (don't trust the spelling) but I not where any others are.
I hope that helps.

The most romantic-fantasy castle of germany is Neuschwanstein. Even Walt Disney used this as a blue-print. It is build in the 19th cent. by Ludwig von Bayern, the last romantic monarch, who build more neo-classical buildings.

Dunrobin Castle near Dornoch in north east Scotland is the classic fairy tale castle. It also gas a long and dramatic history. See McGibbon & Ross , 'The Domestic and Castellated Architecture of Scotland' facsimilie copy of the original of 1896 published by James Thin in Edinburgh in 1990.
