I may have one at home, so will check my books and see what's available. As duncan says, we rarely e-mail people direct, but we do post plans of castles in the Photo Archive under the section headed "Floorplans". Will hopefully have an answer this time tomorrow. |

I have managed to download the plans of the 6 floors of Orford Castle, but unfortunately for other members of COTW, they are too large to be put in the Castle Photo Archive. I will be mailing them direct to micah141, and if anyone else would like them, please leave the request here. |

Hey everyone, I've been looking for blueprints of castles forever! I don't think this forum or the 'floorplans' archive was here last time i visited Castles on the Web.
Anyways; AJR i would really appreciate it if you could send me those blueprints to Orford Castle. It sound like their pretty detailed and thats what i need. :-) My address is

AJR or anyone, I would highly appreciate if you could send me a copy of the blueprints, as well as any other blueprints or images you may come across in the future. I'm a castle modeler, I model detailed fine scale models of castles. And I have been looking for blueprints and images of castles for my modeling for accuracy. I have found some, but most of them are only of 1-3 side, and I need all 4, as well as the top for precise details. Many thanks in advance.

Hello,
I realize that the last reply was sent a year ago, but if AJR is still looking in, maybe he could send those blueprints this way too, I have been looking high and low for a good set. Thank you if anyone sees this. |

Plans of Castle Levan are available on the following site: http://www.castlelevan.com/plans.htm Click the images for larger versions. Not all have dimensions, but it should be possible for you to cross-calculate from those that do. Dimensions that are marked are in meters. Levan |
