I desperately need a simple, clear, but not boring diagram of a Welsh castle built by Edward I. It is needed to show a class of 11year olds the basic structure and parts to a castle. Please help!! Emma |

How quick is desperate ? I can post various plans in the Castle Photo Archive, but these are black and white. I suspect you are looking for a "cutaway" diagram. I have a number in books at home, but will not be able to have them available until this time on Monday. |

The following glossary provided by The Castles Of Wales website is partly illustrated by photographs. If photos won't do you should be able to make up relatively simple line drawings from them yourself. http://www.castlewales.com/casterms.html Or try http://www.castles-of-britain.com/castle16.htm for birds eye views of castles or for brief drawn glossary, http://www.angelfire.com/wy/svenskildbiter/drawings.html ------------------ 'Demeure par la verite' Visit; Gordon's Scottish Castles Resource Page |
