What you see was built in 1603-1609, as a residence for a bishop of some kind, so it's not a castle.

It seems that this castle was the center of some form of Nazi cult.

Roughly translates to "The Wewelsburg has a special meaning for the Nazis. Built and fitted out in the thousand year 'Reich' as a 'Reich' leaders school for the SS, to produce an arian ruler elite..."
