Author Topic:   Building castle in France (XIIIº) Trajan Member posted 03-30-99 02:46 AM             "Les Compagnons de Guédélons" started two years ago the construction of a medieval castle in Bourgogne, France. The project will end in 23 years! Workers first built machines and equipements, in full respect of the medieval materials and crafts. The project is to confirm/infirm existing historical theories about the medieval constructions technics. The association accepts volunteers to work. It looks like they might be resurrecting it.
