As much as I would LOVE to own (build/ buy/ inherit/ whatever) a castle, I have to be a realist. I'll never get past the fast finger round and I believe that Ed Mac Mahon is an agent of the Devil, sooo my resources are some what limited. What I think I can afford though is to find "medievalish" home plans (tudor, certain cottage designs, etc) and/or modify existing home plans to appear like a castle or manor. Along these same lines I'm also interested in furnishings and decor that give the place a Medieval feel as well. I'm not sure if this is on topic for this area or not, but it is the closest place I've found so far Thanks in advance for any ideas, suggestion, links, etc. Jeff |

Here's two ideas for the interior www.dancing-dragon.com and www.designtoscano.com Also there is an older book from Home Planners that has quite a few worth while drawings and floorplans. The section on Tudor, Cotswold and English adaptations is the best I've seen on the market. It was published in 1977 so may be harder to find, "230 Home PLans by Richard B Pollman".
