Hello!Have any of you building your own castle run in to any problems with Zoning ordinances and Building Codes? Specifically in the USA, and more precisely, anyone building in town, or on the outskirts (county line)? I want to build a tower, or a small keep, and I know in town, I can't even come close to pulling something like that off. They probably wouldn't let me make a 2 story barn.
Anyway, I was curious; have you run into problems with the local laws? How did you work around it, or did you work it out with your Building Commisioner? I know the obvious answer is to move completely into the country.
