This late Norman pele tower was burnt by the the Scots in 1341 and was restored by Lady Anne Clifford Regards AJR Peter Member posted 01-03-2001 12:56 PM             Morgan, have visited the site some years, which lies by the side of a main road, so it can easily be seen. There is not a great deal left of it, but still looks interesting. My scanner is off line at the moment, so I can't send you a pic.
