My records for medieval castles of these counties is fairly well complete (And is complete for castles with recorded history). I can only assume this is a post medieval castle, or that you have a spelling I haven't got (But this doesn't look to likely.) John Ball Senior Member	posted 03-03-2000 04:56 PM As with Phillip I could not find a match for your Carnanton Castle. The closest I could find in Cornwall was Cardinham Castle and Carminow Castle. If either of these could be your castle please feel free to write.
rosemary Member	posted 07-16-2007 11:31 AM Carnanton HALL was the Family seat of the Brydge Willyams; it is at Mawgan near Newquay. I believe it is now occupied by the Young-Jamieson family.
