Help please. I am trying to find information about a castle in Spain. The only info that I currently have is that it is called Hoocoma and is located in the Catalogna region near Bacelona perhaps. The castle might have been associated with the family name of Russo. I am sure this is not a major site which is why I have found nothing about it on the web. Does anyone know about this place or could tell me where I could search for information about it...exact location, history, and picture? Thanks...I will be greatful indeed. Tom from Germany

I couldn't find anything either. Are you absolutely shure about the spelling? It doesn't look very spanish to me, I don't recall them using "oo" at all.

I will check into the spelling. I thought the spelling was a little strange for Spainish too. I got this information from a friend who says it belonged to his family a long time ago...could it be possible that it is really just a large villa that the family has called castle over the years? Well, it is named none the less so I would think that there would be record of it someplace. I will double check the spelling and get back...Thanks!!

There is a small town in central Spain known as 'Ocana', which is pronounced much like your 'Hoocoma'. It does have remains of its walls, and is well known for its Pacace\House rather than a castle.
