Author Topic:   Castles near Norwich and the Norfolk Broads Levan Moderator posted 07-04-2002 09:42 AM             Can anyone recommend any castles that can be seen and visited that are within reasonable walking distance of the navigable sections of the Norfolk Broads in England? Levan AJR Senior Member posted 07-04-2002 10:47 AM          The only one that springs to mind is Caister Castle, a few miles north of Great Yarmouth. SallyBee Member posted 07-20-2002 01:05 PM          Burgh Castle is close to the Waveney up towards Yarmouth, not too much to see though. Don't forget Norwich castle, you can always moor up and get a bus or train from Wroxham.
