Many thanks! SusanWriter Peter Member posted 01-24-2003 02:50 PM             As Pleshy is mainly a Motte & bailey castle (all robbed out), it is doubtful there are many paintings of it. Though some no doubt exist. There is an uncredited picture in 'John Leland's Itinerary', by John Chandler; Alan Sutton Press, ISBN 0-86299-957-X. But this is mainly of the 15th C bridge spanning the moat. Picture of about 1777.
