Hello everybody

I have some questions about Ballymoon Castle in County Carlow, Ireland.

1.) What happend at this place during the first half of the 16th Century? Was there a importend battle or something like that?

2.) Who was living (what noble family) there between 1500 and 1550?

3.) What do you know about this family?

Sad to say there is very little documented evidence for Ballymoon.
It belonged to the Carew's,and it would seem remained in their hands (with castles in South Wales) until the 16thC. Only an examination of local history would give greater detail.
