Hi,Does any one know where I can find information on castle Trautson in Matrei am Brenner. It has been destroyed during a bomb raid on the brenner railroad in WW II. Thanx in advance, ipflo |

There is a fairly good description of Trauton in the book "Tiroler Burgenbuch , Band 5, Wipptal " by Oswald Trapp ( 1974 ).
If you cannot get a copy of it , i can email you a scan.
