I'm just starting a seach and wondering if you could kindly give me some pointers? I need to find the world's biggest medieval castles (existing or ruined) about which there is info known about how they worked, why they were built, flaws, frustrations, strengths, innovations, why they fell if they did fall (siege stories) ....
