Does anyone have any detailed plans of the french castle Haut-Koenigsbourg?

I am looking for a plan large enough and clear enough so i can create paths in photoshop to export to a modelling package.

Thanks.

andys,
there is a plan and details on pages 195/6 of 'Chateaux Forts et fortifcations en France'. But it is a bit small. I am sure I have the full guide book somewhere. If no-one comes up with a www. site for you I'll see if I can find it .. I will anyway.

Hi,

Any information might be useful, from the map i have its difficult to work out what is a wall and a building.

The more information i have the better it might just help.

Thanks.

hi,

it is not easy to find high quality plans of the Hoch Koenigsburg on the net.

The best you can find are:
http://www.haut-koenigsbourg.net/venir/plan.html
http://www.dickemauern.de/haut_koenigsbourg/grlie.htm

Probably these plans are not good enough for the purpose you want to use them. So the best way is to mail the castle themselves on webmaster@haut-koenigsbourg.net I think/ hope they are willingly to send you a detailed plan of the castle

ipflo, just back from italy

I did find their guidebook at the weekend ( I knew it was somewhere!), but the plans in it are not that good, and quite small.

Hi, thanks for all the help, the plans are not detailed enough but some of the images on those links are useful.

Thanks.
Andrew.
