Author Topic:   Diósgyor Castle Maria Moderator posted 03-20-2007 02:57 PM             It's in Hungaria and it looks like this : http://images.world66.com/di/os/gy/diosgyor_castle_in_galleryfull It was almost totaly distroyed in the 19th century and they started renovating it in 1960, then 1990. I thought it looked nice, the four towers and all - but guess what! They are renovating it with modern materials -like cement and stuff... Can you do that? Are you allowed to do that? I guess they don't have enough money to get original materials, but shouldn't they just leave it in ruins -and preserve them?
