In 1886 Robert Givins built a castle in Chicago which he supposedly sketched from a castle in Ireland. I've looked at a lot of castles but have yet to find it. At this Web site there's a good photo of Givin's castle: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2258/2466322691_ba6ef18dd9.jpg
Supposedly Givins saw the castle near the River Dee in County Louth, but I have found no castle in County Louth or in nearby counties that look like Givins' castle. Perhaps he saw the castle elsewhere in Ireland or in England or Scotland, but I've had no luck looking there, either. Please help.

Hello I'm puzzled by this. The problem is that the buildings looks fairly generalized, and rather 19th century looking. It could look a little like several castles, but nothing in Louth.
