Dear Whoever, I need these questions answered for a school assignment on castles! I've looked everywhere and I need HELP! Could you please help me with these questions: 1. In what main periods were castles built and why? 2. Who were the main castle builders? (countries and regions, types of groups) 3. What were the main types of castles? (general categories, not specific castles) 4. How were castles defended and attacked? I also need pictures of weapons that were used in the castle times. Benjamin, Try looking in your local library. These are very basic questions which are answered by most basic books on castles. I'm sure the Melbourne library will have many such books. Erik |

You will also find your answers here in some old the old mails, set your preferences for all mails and read through them. You are not the first to ask these questions.
